This website is for a community of local artists in the Portland, Oregon Area. UAN (Urban Art Network) is a registered non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for self-representing local artists.
This website has been continually maintained, updated and upgraded since 2007. Including multiple migrations from Joomla to Drupal 7 and then to Drupal 8+.
The website provides:
• A user registration component for artist members
• A complete online storefront
• A member gallery and marketplace
• An article section
• Completely responsive and adaptive layout and content
A Heart Show
Using Drupal Commerce, a complete store and checkout process was implemented for this one-time online art show. Now, with the features that were developed, the website is capable future art sales. Selected art pieces in the show were used for advertisements on social media.
Art Marketplace
The Market feature allows member artists to post artwork for sale online. There is an easy form to enable site visitors to get in touch with the artist and start the process.
The Drupal 7 version of the site. Hundreds of user accounts were migrated between Drupal versions using the Drupal Migrate framework and tools. This past version of the site featured an events calendar for artist members to promote their upcoming art events.
